  1. Yes because they are suffering and Allah swt removes ones sins when they are in pain or suffering. If they die in a bad state, they get many rewards for it, so in a way it's good to suffer in this life as it will reward you in the next inshallah.

  2. depends on whether he swears with pain or not.. some ppl tend to blame god for sufferings other turn to him for help..

i guess if they are brave and accept them it's  a plus

  3. Calamities reduce sins:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 007, Book 070, Hadith Number 544.

    --------------------------------------...

Narated By 'Aisha : (The wife of the Prophet) Allah's Apostle said, "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn."

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 007, Book 070, Hadith Number 545.

    --------------------------------------...

Narated By Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira : The Prophet said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 007, Book 070, Hadith Number 550.

    --------------------------------------...

Narated By 'Abdullah : I visited the Prophet during his ailments and he was suffering from a high fever. I said, "You have a high fever. Is it because you will have a double reward for it?" He said, "Yes, for no Muslim is afflicted with any harm but that Allah will remove his sins as the leaves of a tree fall down."

There are many others like that. As for death, some causes of death can make you a martyr!

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 004, Book 052, Hadith Number 082.

    --------------------------------------...

Narated By Abu Huraira : Allah's Apostle said, "Five are regarded as martyrs: They are those who die because of plague, abdominal disease, drowning or a falling building etc., and the martyrs in Allah's Cause."

But of course, not everybody but probably only believers:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 007, Book 071, Hadith Number 629.

    --------------------------------------...

Narated By Abu Huraira : The Prophet said, "He (a Muslim) who dies of an abdominal disease is a a martyr, and he who dies of plague is a martyr."

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 007, Book 071, Hadith Number 628.

    --------------------------------------...

Narated By Anas bin Malik : Allah's Apostle said, "(Death from) plague is martyrdom for every Muslim."

  4. yes it does

There is a authentic hadith that says if a believer dies drowning in the water, he will be considered as a martyr.

  5. Yup.

They will reduce the sins. They will increase the hasanat.

Many scholars say that Muhammad (P.B.U.H) had a very hard time in his sickness and death. This was surely to increase His hasanat.

He (P.B.U.H) said himself (I don't remember the exact words, but it was like this): "I am bearing the pain which two of you bear in your sickness. So I will get double reward for it too."

  6. Sins are 'reduced' through agonies only if you accept the agonies as punishments for the wrongs that you have commited. You have to understand and accept the fact that good begets good and bad begets bad. If you do bad things and have bad thoughts then naturally bad things will happen to you. It is the law of nature. If you are constantly fighting back and blaming others, even blaming God, then I don't think the fear of death or the pain of sickness would reduce your sins.

  7. Yes both reduce the sins

with any suffering you earn Ajer wa thwab from God for your suffering and you get more if you been patient  and same thing for fear such as war and hunger
