Do the all blacks seem to just be going thru the motions they go thru at training.?

it seems to me they practice a move in training then feel they must complete the move even if it means losing the ball. Idont see many of the guys thinking for themselves.

  1. It almost feels like the games they've played so far have been training runs.

On Sunday morning we are going to up against a good opponent (finally) in a crucial must win match. I think the ABs will raise their intensity.

I don't know if I agree with your question though. The All Blacks seem to have employed very few moves at all. They appear to have left a lot of things up their sleeve and hopefully we will see them come out in the French game.

Every World Cup I get excited at the prospect of moves the ABs have lined up for us. It hasn't really eventuated on the paddock though. I'm still holding out for some magic plays though.

  2. I reckon it's hard for us to comment on what they do in training.

One thing I like, is even if it does not come off, they commit to a move during a game and have a go.

I reckon they will have some backline moves that they have been keeping to themselves that we will now see.

So far they have hardly done a 1s1/5/8 wrap or used dummy runnners - so I reckon we've got some wicked moves up our sleeves!

  3. Yes your right. Someone needs to take the bull by the horns.  That's what All Black rugby was all about, spontaneity.  Sure they had good forwards and everything flowed from there in terms of setting up good field position.  When it comes to broken play all the team could combine to set up an instant counter strike.  It was the unexpected but they always knew how to overcome and develop a plan just through confidence or sheer audacity.  That has been missing for a long time.
