Do the children's and adult plane tickets cost the same?

If I buy a ticket for my 3 year old, does it cost the same as an adult ticket? He would have his own seat.

  2. With a few exceptions here and there, yes. Same price.

  3. Well number one it depends on the airport.

    Number 2 it most likely will cost less because he/she is younger.

    Number 3 Yours will probably be a whole lot more expensive.

  4. It will almost ALWAYS cost the same.  You kid is taking up the same seat that an adult normally would.

  5. Children's (12 and under) tickets usually cost less.  It depends on the airline on how much of a discount you get.  I've noticed that a lot of online search engines don't show you the difference in cost, but if you go directly to an airline's website, you would see the difference once you've entered all your info.
