We are staying near Connolly Station so we would be going from here to Tara Street station to the Temple bar area. How often are the trains from these destinations and do they run all night - say around 2am? Thanks!!!

  1. I Don't think they operate that late. Get a taxi

  2. the 'luas' in Dublin stops service at 12.30 (midnight) so you best bet is to get a taxi or hackney .. :)

  3. As already said they stop at around 11.30pm, however tara street is only the next station southbound from Connolly and is only 4/5mis walk over Butt Bridge. If your staying near Connolly, then your best bet is to walk into Temple Bar (10/15mins at most) and get a taxi on the way back it wont cost more than 10e, maybe 6 or 7.

There are nightlink buses that leave the city centre late on weekends but these are to bring people home to the suburbs and further parts of Dublin from the city centre, Connolly is considered to be in the city centre so no public transport late at night. Best bet would be walk or taxi.

    hope this helps

  4. they stop at about 1130
