  1. The team sports coaches get medals (like basketball, volleyball, etc).


  2. Nope. The medals go to the athletes who do all the work.

    I would bet there is some sort of ceremony involving a medal or certificate or whatever conducted by the home nation's Olympic Committee to recognize the coach's contribution.
