  4. they can feel it coming through the air. its like nosey and there for leaves rumbling in the air its hard to explain.

  5. It depends on when they become deaf. Beethoven became deaf in old age and continued composing. He could hear in his mind the music he was writing.

  6. If someone is truly deaf, they can only feel vibrations on their skin.  This is a poor replacement for ears, since skin is far less sensitive to changes in pitch and tonal quality.

    A deaf person could tell the difference between a low note and a high one if they were sufficiently loud, but it's very unlikely they could distinguish the difference between two people talking, or even detect voices at all beyond a small distance.

  7. Sometimes, yes sound can be seen, but when it comes to music it's mostly the vibration. I have a speaker sitting on my floor and if I put my feet on the floor, I can feel the music and I have excellent rhythm even without my hearing aids.
