The fittest survive longer, but the most adaptable usually become the fittest. So in conclusion, I might go for a jog around the block and then sit in the freezer for 20 minutes.

which means that survival in NYC might be VERY different from surviving in Rwanda, requiring different skills, different adaptability, even different  genetics

umm i think adaptable cause even if you are not fit you can still get around and get food! But deffently the adaptible

Yup  Fitness in different aspects: Physically fit, mentally fit, emotionally fit, socially fit, etc.

Nether....life does not work that well.  Life, nature, is random.  

Most of the time the fittest survive...and most of the time the adaptable survive....but not always.

1.Stuff outside the circle of life.  You can be the fittest or most adaptive creature in the world.....but a volcano or meteor can still destroy your whole race.

2.Not all adaptions are good.

3.'Fit' has different meanings.  A giant super creature can be killed off easily...but a tiny one that hides might live much longer.

They might survive longer, but ultimately No. Sooner or later they will all be gone. Its the law.
