  1. yes, they both do...it's just a matter of how big that chance is. Every year there seems to be one or two teams that come out of nowhere to vie for the post season and we can all agree, the Rays are this years' cinderella team. Whether they can survive the dog days of august or the pressure of september, remains to be seen. The marlins have done it (post season) before, albeit with different players, but as was the goal of the playoff format, it's making for some great races. Enough talk--play ball!!

  3. Can't count the marlins out  , they seem to come from nowhere every year ! Tampa , it's been ten years without a post season , they are due , plus it seems they are for real this year . I hope for there fans they can beat the yankees and boston red sox ,and taste the post season for the first time ! I really like what they have put together hopefully for a long time to come . Go Rays , It's your time to shine ...........

Sure.  Their records are good enough right now.  The question is: Can they maintain the intensity and quality of play for the remainder of the season and have enough gas in the tank for the playoffs?  But then again, you can ask that about every team that is playing well now.  However, the Marlins and Rays are young.  Young players may not have the experience and the stamina to maintain the high level of play.  With experience comes patience and the ability to pace yourself.  We'll wait to see if they can do it.  It would be great if they did.

  6. The marlins have no chance with the mets and phillies in the way but the rays at this point will most likely win the division

  8. no chance wat so ever they will fall the marlians stand a better chance then the rays because they are in a weaker lead and division the rays have to beat out the red soxs and yankees its not going to happen the red sox will win the al east and yankees get wild card and philles will win the nl east

  9. they both have a chance the rays pitcher is awesome and the marlins catcher is out standing and all the players are good so just keep watching the games and see what happens.

  10. The Rays will win the World Series because the Might Ducks changed their name to the Ducks.  We all know the Rays used to be the Devil Rays.
