I don't think that he is considered to be a AGW leader.  I rather see him as a Pitch Man.  But instead of selling corn flakes, he's trying to sell "Man-Did-It" Global Warming.

They gave him a noble price didn't they?  They defend his carbon foot print.   He receives millions of dollars to make speeches about global warming, even though he is not a scientist.  I would have to say yes.

What does it tell you about a group of people who,when told to conserve,reuse,recycle,etc. obey without question,even though those orders come from a man who doesn't do any of the above?

Nope.  These are the people I trust.  They all say global warming is real, and mostly man made.

The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Meteorological Association, etc.
