yes!!!ofcourse!!!look at last playoffs they forced a game 7 against the BIG3 of celtics!!! if they resign j.smith and get some big and offensive big men down low!!!! coz there weakness is their big men!!!in the last playoffs Kevin G. is just playing big time basketball coz there is no one in the bigmen of that can match him up!!!The guards of hawks is no problem, with M. I doubt it because Chicago won't have a fluke season like last year and the 76ers have improved greatly, plus thwe Wizards should make it if they don't have any significant injuries. I think the East will look like this..

1 - Boston Celtics

2 - Detroit Pistons

3 - Orlando Magic

4 - Cleveland Cavaliers

5 - Philadelphia 76ers

6 - Toronto Raptors

7 - Chicago Bulls

8 - Washington Wizards

Yeah they have a chance, just about anyone has a chance in the East. I like the hawks chances of making the playoffs if they can sign back josh smith and if mike bibby plays the way he did when he Sacramento played the Lakers in the playoffs many years ago.

When he played against them he had so much poise and confidence, but i've noticed he defers to joe johnson late in games. I think they should run a pick and roll game w/him and josh smith late in games.

If they do this they should make the playoffs, probably a 7 or 8 seed. If they add another big man (has to be decent), then they could possibly get up to 5 or 6 seed. so we'll all see how the rest of the summer plays out for them
