  1. I doubt it.  The selection of Palin might make some reconsider.

  2. No.  But it makes the point that these social conservative leaders shouldn't be legislating how to raise America's kids when they aren't even successful raising their own.  Abstinence as a blanket policy will never work.  Palin learned that firsthand.

  3. No, I think that Americans had already noticed that the VP pick was a blatant attempt to get Clinton supporters to vote Republican.  Do you think that women are so stupid that they will vote for McCain just because a woman (who has major philosophical differences with Hillary) is on the ticket?

  4. Of course not, we know that Sarah Palin will doom the McCain/Palin ticket all by herself. Look at all of the unflattering info that's come out about her since Friday, imagine what else will come out by election time, if she even makes it that far.

  5. Voters can come to their decision for just about any reason known to man. Yes I think this can be one of many reasons why someone would not vote for McCain.

  6. They are really hoping and wishing. It's all they have.

Imagine the outrage if conservatives picked on Obama's kids. The liberals would come undone.

  7. Possibly.  It does demonstrate that her family isn't quite the Republican's ideal of the perfect American family, which they initially used as one of Sarah Palin's strong points.  I don't think it will have much traction, though.  Most people will be turned off by Palin's duplicity in other areas.

  8. Yeah...they really are that dumb.

  9. I think it will help him, even more people can relate to her. She is just like a every day person with every day issues.

  10. No, I don't think that.  If someone was going to vote for McCain (though I cannot think of a good reason why someone would), this would not sway their vote.

  11. No.  They just like annoying the self righteous Neocons who were so quick to spew hate about Mrs. Obama and her daughters.

  12. I'm an Liberal, I think this sort of stuff is just gutter trash and policitially meaningless. Reguardless of which party I supported  it would'nt change my opinion of Palin, this sort of stuff is no-need-to-know, and private.

From my research on Palin, I like her, I find her intelligent, someone who upholds high values ...  very likeable and ... so on. not to mention attractive. McCain voters that informatively believe his got the best party will still vote McCain and so they should.

  13. So you think her daugher is trouble?

    How judgemental of you.

  14. No. we just like pointing out the hypocracy of the people on the right.

Righties love the abstainance only teachings, but have nothing to say when it fails miserably in their own backyard

  15. Nah. Most people vote for their party, and their candidate can do no wrong. If republicans were ever voting based on values, they wouldn't vote republican anyway. Even without a pregnant daughter, the right wing doesn't have "we the people's" interests at heart.

  16. Palin's daughter's actions have nothing to do with her ability to lead a country.

But I still don't think people should vote for her.

  17. Her daughter shouldn't. But Palin should.

  18. well, liberals think that Barack Obama is the second coming of Christ (at least the Liberals that aren't atheists) so who knows what they think...?

  19. No I don't.

Repubs would pour sugar on sh..t and call it candy I suppose.

  20. Yes.

It is a package deal.  You vote for McCain, you really vote for McCain/Palin.

  21. It didn't take the pregnancy to get me to switch from McCain to Obama.

  22. I'm a Canadian - and an atheist too - but I can't understand why Americans always use the word "liberal"in a derogatory way. Apparently liberalism is a really undesirable political culture. In Canada a liberal is a member or a supporter of the Liberal Party - someone who is slightly socialistic rather than conservative - perhaps similar to a Democrat in US politics.
