  1. I visited the oldest Cro-Magnon cave in Europe this year. Cro-Magnon (Genetically considered to be identical to Modern Humans) migrated from the Black Sea basin westward, 30-40,000 years ago, where they encountered Homo Sapiens Neatherthalensis, who had inhabited Europe, which is actually Western Asia, for appx.300,000 years, and had proabably walked out of Africa, around its Western coastline which was then connected to the Iberian peninsula. These Neanderthals were likely genetically compatible with Cro-Magnon, as 5 Hybrid skeletal remains have been found, to date...

Recent studies indicate, that Neanderthals had a red-hair gene, and had prominent, straight noses. Both species were excellent tool-makers, makers of jewelry, musical instruments, used speech to hunt in groups, and occasionally buried their dead with flowers...

For some unknown reason, distinct Neanderthals disappeared from the scene appx.25,000 years ago. They were considerably smaller (Average height 5'3"), and couldn't perhaps defend themselves against the larger Cro-Magnon (Average height 5'10"), when territory disputes arose. As males have little motivation to kill females, cross-mating obviously occurred under various scenarios...

Cro-Magnon themselves, eventually left Europe 10-12,000 years ago, during the last Ice Age, however Europe was later re-populated by genetically identical humans who were no longer referred to, as Cro-Magnon!
