After I play with his shiny balls, my snooker guy, likes me to chalk his cue. He sinks the pink AND downs the brown -  eventually POTTING THE BLACK   !!!!!

I have seen this question come up often and it does not make any sense to have a preconceived strategy to favour any colour ball over another because it has to depend on the lay of the table during the play. The primary objective of Snooker is to make the highest score of points counted by potting a red, which then gets you the right to pot any coloured ball for more points. In this case, it only makes sense to pot the highest value colour ball available at the time while also gaining position for the next object ball. Points are counted for each ball scored, (Red=1ppoint, Yellow=2pts, Green=3pts, Brown=4points, Blue=5pts, Pink=6pts, Black=7pts). The game continues alternating the potting of red and colour while respotting the coloured balls until all the red balls are eliminated. The game completes by sinking the last six coloured balls from yellow to black in order of their point values which is the only time a four point brown ball would be chosen over shooting a six point pink by a preconceived requirement.

The key is when you are playing snooker... skip the s*x, lol.

lol..I asked this a while ago and was told by quite a few snooker players.....that brown gets potted first!!.....

i'm a girl, and i still like to build up a good break by alternating between the pink and the brown!

there's just something delicious about doing it on a good quality table!

So long as I don't have to 'l**k the stick'... I just don't play that way!

The PINK always seems to be sitting in an easier position whereas the BROWN seems to be at a more difficult angle..........but they say the best things don't come easily.............
