Do the newer jettas have turbo.?

Question

I dont really know all that much about cars but i am searching for a newer one and after driving my brothers golf GTI i would really like to know if the newer models ( 06 and up i tihnk) of jettas have stock turbo. If so what would be the full title of them?

there are couple options. the 2.0 jetta do not have turbo. the 1.8T and 1.9TDI have the turbo.

Yes the newer jettas do come in turbo. they are great cars a lot of people really enjoy them because of the turbo in them. VW are great cars..

Yeah the new jettas do come with a turbo option which I suggestion. I build tuner and street racing cars and I find the new jettas have alot of potential to make a fast, sweet looking car.

in order to get a turbo on a newer (MK5) Jetta, you would need to get a GLI, which comes with the same 2.0l FSI turbo set up that is in the GTI.  you have an option for the automatic DSG transmission or the six speed manual too.

S, SE and SEL models come with a 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder engine good for 170 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. The Wolfsburg Edition is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 200 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque. Both S and SE Jettas offer a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic, while the Wolfsburg Edition boasts a standard six-speed manual. VW's slick six-speed DSG sequential-shift transmission -- which can be shifted manually or placed in auto mode -- is available as an option on the Wolfsburg Edition only. With SEL Jettas, only the six-speed automatic is offered. All Jettas are front-wheel drive.
