  1. at worst you will roughly $100 on a $300 book plus the free tickets...unles you find the lucky ticket that is $100 or more

  2. Theoretically it could work out at a loss. Say they cost $1 each and there's 100 tickets so that will cost you $100. Ok lets say there are three winning tickets, one is $25 the other two are $5 that's a loss of $65.

On the other hand there could be a big winner in there and the profit could be really big or there could be no winners and it would be 100% loss. This is all just theory.

But yeah, I guess the odds to win do increase.

    I wouldn't do it personally.

  3. 100% chance of winning the money., as you're buying whole packet of lottery tickets at one time..,

  4. Lottery Ticket "sets" are produced with a specific number of winners of each denomination.  Lets, just as an example, use a "set" of 100 lottery tickets for $1 each.

The predetermined amount may be (1) $50 winner, (2) $10 winners and (10) $1 winners.  That would amount to $80 in winnings for $100 worth of tickets.  So the profit would be $20 per "set" for the Lottery Company and a $20 loss for you.

The Lottery Company will have a random generator in places so that the exact number of winners of each denomination are created.  The rest are obviously losers.  They will never create a "set" that pays out more than is collected.

Now for the Lottery Tickets at any given convenience store, those are produced hundreds of thousands (or millions) at a time.  So they can offer bigger payouts on individual tickets (like $25,000).   While it is not very likely, it is certainly possible that all the $25,000 winning tickets are on the same roll.  But an entire roll can consist of all losers as well.

Even if you could purchase an entire "set" of tickets for a particular game, you would always come out losing as this is determined before manufacturing.

You are not likely to come out ahead based on percentages, but if you want to go with luck, that is your business.
