I really hope that is not what it is coming down to. I hope people have more sense than that. There are actual issues involved here that have nothing to do with race or gender and I hope people want someone in office who will build us back up to where we need to be.

Not exactly.  I would prefer the first woman VP, being of the feminine persuasion myself; but, the woman in question is on the wrong side of every issue that I, as a woman deem right, so I am voting Obama.

Personally, I think that anyone who is willing to make a choice for any political party based on race or gender is making a poor choice.

People should vote their consciences and vote for the politician(s) that share their goals and dreams for the country. Not who should be in the White House first.

it shows me that when someone's s*x.. or the color of their skin has one darn thing to do with wether they should or should not be president.. that our country still has some growing up to do.

as long as there's people that still think like that.. i will continue to support affirmative action..

where equality is impossible thru common conviction and integrity.. it should be mandatory by law.
