Do the people who distribute and collect bags for donations of clothes for charities get paid?

Bags for clothes, shoes etc are delivered to by house every two weeks or so. Are the people who collect them volunteers?

Yes there volunteers, be a bit carefull with some of those bag collections though, read the small print on the bag, many of them are businesses.

i recon most of them go through the bags and take the good stuff out before it reaches the chariety shop.

not always had a friend who used to drive a Oxfam collection van for a living. I think it depends on the charity

These bags are not always for charities, most of them are made to look like they are but really it's some shyster trying to make a quick buck or two.
