  3. No, we don't. Unless we're talking about the red light district in London, which is the Tipperary referred to in that song.

  4. To answer your question: yes. they sing it. I am on the Limerick/ Tipp boarder myself. Its really the only song they have, and sing it usually when drunk!!!!

  5. They sing "its a long way to Newton Abbott" just coz it fits. It just hasn't caught on here.

  16. Hey, I am from Tipp and I can say no we do not sing its a long way to Tipperary. This song was British soldiers in world war 2. The song tipp people assoicate with our county in a song is called "Slievenamon". We sing this when our couty are playing our national sport Hurling. hope this helps
