Yes they work but it is all a matter of what you are using it for and the type you get.... You may also want to try the battery operated sonic repellents. They work well for ants and roaches but you may have to pay a pretty price. Electronic solutions tend to be expensive if you want the best effect.

they migth work for mice but not for spiders and roaches since they do not have ears.
