They certainly are doing their job, the jails are overflowing. One in a hundred Americans is in jail.

  1. The term Pig is from the hippie days of the 1970's.  The cops turned it around and said it stood for Pride, Integrity and Guts.  Then the hippies stopped using it.  Today's terms come from rappers, things like Popo, and 5-0.  Yet, nobody deserves to be called names.  Would you like someone calling you a name?

  2. (A) there are approx 301,000,000 people in the USA

    (B) There are approx 2.1 million people in jail or prison in the USA

    (C) That's approx 1 in 150 not 1 in 100. Faulty statistics are the devil's playground or more likely the liberal left's playground.

--- Oh and of course now all of the lefty liberal wankers are trying to throw all the blame on the police, as usual. I wonder, did it ever occur to these mental giants that the police don't make the laws? That the police are simply being paid to protect the people and enforce the laws legally created by the legislature? And that the legislature was put in place by the liberal wankers that elected them?

--- Lets see, that means the idiots who are complaining are the ones to blame as they are the ones who elected the fools who made the laws that apparently the liberal wankers don't like. And they are ones who aren't displacing and removing the legislators who won't change the laws to what the people want!

--- OR... could it be that the MAJORITY of the people in the USA want the laws the way they are and want the police to enforce the laws as they swore under oath that they would do when hired. Could it be that the loud liberal minority and the liberal press just make a lot of hot wind and the true majority is keeping things just the way they want them to be?

--- After all there is a very very simple way to keep those people out of jail, simply OBEY THE LAWS!

Oh yeah,,,PIG is simply an acronym for Pride, Integrity & Guts

  3. I don't call the cops pigs. That is a Charles Manson thing. But I do believe 1 out of 2 cops lie to cover stuff up or to get someone busted.I have seen it on more than one occasion and the honest cops don't get in the lieing cops way or they will get a bad name by their peers. The thing that gets me is these lies are coming from cops who expect nothing but truth to their questions.

  4. I would never call an police officer a pig

    Police - pigs

Back in 1809, Sir Robert Peel entered the House of Commons in London - he developed a passion for Sandy Back pigs found in Ireland and began to breed them in Tamworth. Soon, these pigs were known as Tamworth pigs. Pig slang was commonplace in Tamworth because of this, it was in 1829 that the relation to police came into it.

Politicians were concerned about the way London was policed and Sir Robert Peel changed things - his changes resulted in the formation of the Metropolitan Police. This is why police are referred to as 'Bobbies' or 'Peelers'; they were Bobby's boys...

Due to the pig nature that Tamworth had become, the police suffered the same fate as other Tamworth products did: They became related to pigs.

Starting in August 1968 and for a number of years afterwards, police officers were called pigs by young people, the disenchanted and even the media. This came about when a group who called themselves the Yippies, protested near the 1968 National Democratic Convention in Chicago. They had a small pig as their presidential candidate, and when police disrupted their demonstration, they started to call the police pigs. The expression caught on. Years later, the radical leaders of the Yippies became mainstream and calling police "pigs" drifted into the past

  5. They only do their job because they need money. If only the people that deserved to be arrested were they wouldn't have enough funding. Half the people on probation get screwed just so they will stay on longer and pay more money into the system.

  6. There are some good cops. AND........ there are some pigs. The cops know this is true also, but the sad part is the "blue wall" protects the pigs as well as the good cops.

IF the police would "police" their own, the world would be a much better place. As it is now though, we civilians can't get action against a bad cop, 'cause what are you gonna do, call a cop?
