disrespecting John McCain and the Republicans? I'm an Independent who usually votes for the Democrat but I respect John McCain not only for his service but for his ability to stand for what he believes in and not for the party he is in. I am watching his speech now on CNN and they have panned to these protesters holding signs twice, I got to say you didn't see this during Sen. Obamas' speech unless I missed it somehow. I don't have any real problem with Sen. Obama and I still don't know who I'm voting but I do know that these protesters aren't doing anything to persuade me to their side, if anything they are turning me off. It's one thing to protest outside the convention peacefully but it's another to yell during his speech and get into fights with the police.

I'm a little irritated right now and am not really feeling like prof reading this so I apologize for any errors.

Second part of this question would be do you as a democrat feel like these people represent you?

  1. I love the protestors for sticking it to that old warmonger.

    McCain is a pig.

  2. As an Obama supporter, God no. These people are effing morons. They tried to block the Marine Corps recruiting office in Berkeley and got the city to issue them a permit to picket and block the street. I know doesn't say much about Berkeley, but that's where their minds are. Base-level thinkers who can't see past their noses.

  3. McCain promises he supports something, then the next day, he says he's against it. that is someone who, unlike what you said, cannot stand for what he believes.

  4. Those are anti war protesters and they are at the right convention for their business.
