Do the question about the declaration of independance require too much thinking or no one really cares ? ?

I care that people cared enough about basic freedoms that they fought and won a war for me and my family.

I would love to take teenagers to a primitive camp site and have them live like the original settlers lived.  Maybe they would learn to appreciate what we have today.

Everyone should care.  The Declaratition of Indedpendance was written to establish freedom and democracy of the time now it is debatable what the founders had actually intended but it was just like now a days in Congress you attempt to get something past but you try and get what you can.  Don't forget about the Articals of Confederation.
