I mean the Chargers are going to be awsome this year with an improved defense and all their weapons on the offense, the Cheifs will be much improved and the broncs are alawys tough. so do the raiders even have a chance and why?

  1. No. They have an almost rookie QB as starter. Only one FB at the roster.

The OL is still not good enough,

The receiving corps is just too bad for a regular NFL team.

The best guy on offense I think is sophomore TE Miller.

On the other side of the ball the D can´t stop the run. The have a weak DL.

LBs are great when playing coverage, but not the run.

    And the safeties...

However they have one of the best CB duo.

Special teams... Lechler is injured and Janikowsky is still a fat ***.

    Another tough year.

  2. yea they have gotten a lot more weapons on offense with jamarcus russel and they picked up darren mcfadden and still have a good back up to him in justin fargas and on defense they really bolsterd up by picking up Deangelo Hall who in my opinion is the best cornerback in the league and they also have the asnoughma guy however u spell it and they have mucheal huff and derrick burgess so i believe they will be a force to be reconed with on both sides of the ball

  3. Not this year, maybe in the next 2-3 years they can be contenders.

They will be better than DEN this year, and very close with KC.

OAK and KC are building for the future, DEN is going nowhere.

  4. For what it's worth,I think they're the second best NFL team in California

  5. sorry the raiders don't have a chance this year not even close,if the raiders had a good offensive line yeah they would have had a chance but the raiders didn't draft an offensive linemen in the draft, instead they went and got kwaime harris from the 49ers worst player in the nfl he gave up like 18 sacks last year that's why the raiders always do bad they get all the bad players

  6. You never know.  I mean five years ago the Raiders were 12-4, and then a few years later they were 4-12.  To me, the Raiders have always been a wavering team, however, they are growing powerful again.  Last year the Chargers clinched the division from day one, but this year (to me) it's going to be different.  The Chiefs and the Raiders are improving once again, and the Broncos (My AFC West Favorite) is still going to take second of third place this year.  In my opinion this is how the AFC West is going to end this year:

    1.  Chargers (But They're Going Downhill)

    2.  Broncos (JUST because Chiefs and Raiders are improving)

    3.  - -

    4.  - -

The Chiefs and Raiders are going to be battling for third place, and if lucky enough, second.

  7. no, too inexperienced not enough defensive talent

  8. In all honesty I think the Raiders do have a chance this year. They will not win the divison, that goes to The Chargers no matter how much I don't want to say that, but I think that they have a serious chance against both The Broncos and KC. Both KC and The Raiders are working on rebuilding I think that The Raiders have done a better job of it than KC. Right now The Broncos are "just there". The Raiders will not finish last in their divison, I will give them 8-8
