Do the refs hate HOLMSTROM or what?!!?

This is the seond time with dan o halleran refing that THEY CALL HOLMERSTROMS GOAL OFF. come on this is hockey a d**n stick wont effect anything...why does this ref do this?!?!?!

No the refs Hate the wings and the media want Crosby to win the cup. SO it is very very very clear who they are going to allow win tonight. Just look at all the power plays they have given the Pens and then take away a goal from the Wings. The ONLY way the Pens can beat the Wings if the refs keep the wings in the Box.

yea. when I saw the goal i was like WOOOOOOOOOO. but then i saw it got called off and sat there shaking my fists at the refs.  and you're right melanie, he came INTO the stick. it was his fault that he's so blind that he can't see a player's stick.i guess Fleury just wanted his team to go on the powerplay.  i still wish the goal counted

Shame - that was an awesome shot too.  They called goalie interference, but Fleury came out of the crease INTO the stick.  There was no interference.  That was a crummy call.

You can even see - it wasn't restricting the goalie's movement.  Fleury skated out of the crease right into the stick!

Oh well.

Gary Bettman hates holmstrom and his style of play. its sad to see this repeated after the wings were robbed in the Dallas series.

The players know the rule.  His stick was in constant contact with  the goalie, and was restricting his movement, even if in a small degree.

I think that because Holmstrom is a physical player, the refs tend to watch him more than a player like Filppula for example.  That's why they're always catching his supposed interferences.  I think it's total BS.  The Datsyuk goal was clearly a goal - Holmstrom was NOT in the crease at ALL.  The Lidstrom goal - also in.  True, Holmstrom did have his stick in front of Fleury but it wasn't as if he was pushing Fleury or slashing him with it.  It was just there.  The sad part is, both the Datsyuk and Lidstrom goals were AMAZING shots.  Too bad the ref is a complete idiot.
