Do the rules for waiting 6 months to get an intermediate license apply to me if I'm 18?

I live in Missouri, I'm 18 and got my instruction permit a couple weeks ago, do the rules about waiting 182 days(6 months) still apply to adults?

If it doesn't your lucky here it doesn't matter if your 16 or 60 if you've never had a permit you have to go through all the steps.

yea it does because you just got your permit if you had your license then no but since you got your permit you have to go through the process
