Do the streets in France flow with human excrement?

I was told by an aquaintance, who claimed to have recently been to France, that people there must relieve themselves behind curtains on public streets and it flows like an open creek down said streets. She also claims most people don't have toilets like we do in America because they don't have an established sewer system. Please send me links to prove otherwise so I can show her. Thanks.

Ive been there it is not that dirty but it sure aint clean. Theres never any toilet paper in Bathrooms and make sure that you always have some change on you because be prepared to payto use the toilets. France streets are also covered in dog **** so make sure you watch where you step.

You don't actually believe that? There are public restrooms or as my father called them, "pissoirs" located in the centers of the streets. It is a small building that men walk into, but the walls do not go all the way to the ground. You can still see their feet. The "waste' goes into the drains and then into the sewers, not in the street.

Sounds like your friend is a know it all, is it worth it?

They do. And dead skin floats in the sky like the Devil's dandruff.........., small children have been known to choke to death on the toenail clippings of thousands of Frenchmen, and there is not one clean place to sit in the whole country.

I swim, but I wish i never learned. The water is too poluted with germs. Im a parasite... creep and crawl i step into the night.

I'm french and I live in Paris.

I'm ashamed to recognize that some people are very dirty in Paris....only a little minority fortunately.

They clean often, but difficult to get ride of these people without somewhere to sleep...

....

Anyway, don't be afraid to come and visit Paris, there so many beautiful things to see and you will not meet everywhere drunk men and dirty things...

In fact, the French are so good at public toilets equipment, they actually sell the stuff to countries like the US.

In San Francisco, for example, automatic public toilets are manufactured by JC Decaux, a French company.
