Do the teachers give out calculators for the Math A regents or do we have 2 get our own??

Your school will probably have some, but its always better if you bring your own.  You never know what kind or condition you are getting if you leave it up to someone else.

I like the TI-36.  It does fractions, square roots (either decimal or radcal form).  It;s a great calculator but you need your own so you have time to practice with it and understand what all it can do.

At our school since NY said schools had to provide calculators every student was given one.  If they don't bring it the day of the exam they don't get a new one, unless they pay the cost of the calculator.  Since the day of the exam is the day they have to return it.

At our school any time it is an  important test we always provide calculators....
