  1. no they hardly work unless you use it on a carbureted engine. (old engine from 70's n 80's)

  2. Scam.  Save your money.

After the air passes through the tornado, it passes through the throttle body.  The throttle plate would undo any effects of the tornado.  From the throttle body, the air then passes through a plenum.  From the plenum it passes through the intake runners of the intake manifold.  The air finally reaches the intake port and the valve.  This is the point where the fuel is added to the air and passes into the cylinders.  With all of the different passages the air took to get to this point, any effects of the tornado are long gone.

If anything, a tornado could have an opposite effect because you are putting something restrictive in the air intake tube.

There are no cheap gadgets that will give you better fuel economy.  If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

The best way to increase fuel economy is to change the driver.

Slow down. Drive the speed limit.

    No fast acceleration

    No fast deceleration

Remove all unnecessary weight, no junk in the trunk

No long warm-ups.  Idle for no more than 30 seconds before you drive off.

    Keep your tires properly inflated

    Consolidate trips

    Car pool if possible

  3. For the same price you can get a K&N filter, I gained 3 mpg with it on my Ford  Ranger I-4, I was getting 21 mpg in the city, my last fill up was 24.6 mpg. Motor Trend did a test with  the Tornado  on a Rolls Royce , it made no difference in mpg.....

  4. No!!

Despite claims to contrary, this is the mechanical equivalent of snake oil.

  5. About as well as washing your car does in making it go faster!
