I have a u.s.a. drivers license right now and i want to visit my relatives in canada.Can i rent a car and use my american drivers license there?Can i drive in canada with my u.s.a drivers license?

  1. I believe you can use your US driver's license but the best thing would be to contact the company you will be renting the car from and ask them.

  4. Yes you can drive in Canada with an American drivers license. I'm from the States and now live in New Brunswick with my husband and I once called Service Canada I believe it was about my drivers license and getting a Canadian one. To rent a car in Canada I'm pretty sure you won't have a problem with as long as you also bring along a passport too. So it's perfectly legal to drive with you American license. Just make sure you have the proper forms of ID and everything before you rent the car.
