  1. Yes.

  2. Lol.

I don't think so, but I'm not the best footy fan to ask :P

  3. no unless they want 1, than they get 1

  4. I don't think so. All they get is total humilation.

  5. well joffa mnade one for collingwood the year we were on the bottom. because it was carlton collingwood they were both eqaul and who ever lost was the wooden spooners so not sure aobut other clubs

  6. Of course not.  Its an "honorary" title, though I daresay that a few actual ones have been presented along the way for comedy value.

Interestingly, there is only one competition where the worst position to come is not last, but second.  To come second (ie to come close to winning but fail to do so) is the worst humiliation of all.  The event?  The Palio horse race held twice a year in Siena, Italy.

  7. very interestin Q. i think they actually physically recieved them back in the early 1900's, but not any more. im not too sure where it came from, try looking it up on wikipedia. im sure smashitup's answer will be a copy/paste from there anyway.

my beloved crows havent won one yet, so thats always a good thing.

  8. yes!

They put it on their wall of shame. I see the St.kilda's one on T.V

p.s did you know Adelaide, Port and West Coast have  not won a wooden spoon.

  9. No they don't, it's more of a symbolic thing.

I don't think they deserve the number one draft pick, it offers no incentive for bottom side to win, and encourages cheats like CARLTON. Sorry, just had to say that =)

  10. No they get the no.1 draft pick.

    WOO!!!

    Carn the bluesss!
