  2. I don't think the styles match; the sheers are to elegant for the panels.

    You may want to look for panels with a larger boarder so when they are gathered it has a softer look more drape look.

    If you have a more formal room your choice of color for the curtains is fine. If your walls are the same colors of the curtains than it make the wall look bigger.

    To break up the colors you can try terra cotta reds accessories.
