This really depends on the job and the career.  An entry level job in Engineering would require a degree however and entry level job in retail would not.  Entry level normally means no job experience required and usually when they are advertised that way they would not require a college education.  Mid career jobs usually mean they want someone with a lot of life experiences (more mature) and may or may not require a degree.  Good Luck.
