Do these words Describe the heart of America?

Jesus and guns.. nice, but that definitely wouldn't cover all our hippies. There's only way to really describe America is to call it what it's been called for centuries:

"The Melting Pot".

I think that to trivialize and water down the idea of America into a few words is kind of vaguely insulting, but I get the idea.

I don't think that quote can accurately describe America, because it's only a small part of it. Some people feel that way, others don't. Every American is different. Truth be told, a better word to describe the heart and idea of America would just be, "Wow."
