Do they Still have the bonus prize for driver who is not in chase but finishes 13 in points at years end?

Used be I thought a incentive for other 31 drivers to keep running hard last 10 races

No...the bonus was eliminated last year when the Chase field was expanded from 10 to 12 drivers.

It used to be for the 11th place driver and they could go to NY and everything but I think they stopped it because only the top 10 were in NY this past year.

it used to be $1 million for 11th place. then they added two drivers to the chase and i think that $1 million has gone to the 13th place finisher since then.

EDIT: i stand corrected. i found a fox sports on msn Q&A that confirms that the $1 million bonus was removed with the addition of the 2 extra teams in the chase. my apologies to david caraviello for doubting him, this time.

I believe they still offer the 1 Million Dollar bonus to the driver who

finishes 13th for the season in points.

Yikes, much to my dismay..it was eliminated when they changed the chase to 12 instead to 10, human error, sorry
