Do they accept American money at the Toronto Zoo?

Does the Toronto Zoo take American money? If so, is it at par?

If they don't, is there a place there where you exchange currency? Thanx

Nope they will not unless they are feeling generous. just pop in a local bank with I.D i'm sure they will be more then happy to exchange no big deal...Enjoy the zoo

Most places will accept American money but it won't be at par. As the US dollar is trading at $1.0147 CDN that means it'll be worth around $0.80 - $0.90 CDN.

You'll get a much better rate if you go to a bank and get it changed there.

Dude, it's much easier to exchange a set amount of cash and then spend it. It's just budgeting out your trip. I still got a spare kevlar vest if you want to borrow it for your duration here.

An Andrew from the zoo just said that they do take american currency at their box office and at any of their vendors.

yes they do but you would get a better exchange rate at a bank
