Do they actually do the renovations on Hidden Potential?

I've been watching this show for awhile now and it would be great to see the actual renovations. Do the home buyers actually buy these houses? Spend sometimes over $100,000 on renovations? Show details - updates - anything.... stop leaving us hanging!!!

I don't think they do.

Also on House Hunters  buyers have already bought and are in escrow. So they look at houses for the show with written lines and some of the houses they see are not even on the market. But it's okay to watch if you want price comps around the country (or world with the international show) I just wonder how out of date the prices are. How old are some of these shows?

I agree...they need to have some follow-up shows to let us see the actual changes ( not just computer-generated ideas...we can see those for ourselves searching the net!)

I think they just need ideas for shows to keep those ratings up...
