Do they allow flowers in the ICU?

My mom is in the ICU and I want to take her flowers. Generally, do hospitals allow that?

  1. No, sorry they don't allow flowers on the icu floor.


  2. Typically no, but give them a call and they'll let you know for sure.  The florist may also know.  I hope your mom is better soon!

  3. Each hospital will have their own policy regarding this.  Call the hospital and ask.  If you can't take your mom flowers, maybe take her a picture of you guys or something.  It can be one from around the house, just something so that she can look over and know that you are thinking of her.

    I hope your mom gets better and be home with you soon!
