  1. Yes they do, if you do not have ID you can use your passport. I do not know about your drivers license though. You can always try. Good Luck!

  2. Yes, is a way to assure that u havent stole the credict card and tht you are the owner . thEY HAVE TO ASK YOU, NORMALLY THEY DO, BUT IN SOME PLACES THEY DONT, AS A COMUN THING THEY DO.

  3. if your license has a photo then yes.I remember asking people for any kind of ID with a pic.But the Passport is your best bet

  4. Yes, they do. Last year I was shopping at a clothing store and I had an ID with a picture but with no signature and the sales lady didn't let me make a purchase. I didn't know if she was picking on me because I was a foreigner or if that's their policy. I always thought that as long as your name and picture are presented to the sales person then it would be okay. Be prepared to show your picture ID WITH a signature so as long as your driver's license has a signature you should be ok.

  5. I was in Madrid last July and I could not use my credit card at a store without showing my passport. I think any form of photographic id is accepted (i.e. license) but passport is prefered.

  6. yes the y accept any ID and they ask fro it when the sale it's over 6 euros in some case even less
