Question:

Do they check drivers' licenses of Disneyland Annual Passholders?

I'm a new resident of Southern California and have a Disneyland Annual Pass, the kind available only for residents of southern CA. My bills are coming to my temporary CA address, so I qualified as a southern CA resident. I was warned, however, that they may check for a drivers' license along with my annual pass. I still have my Georgia drivers' license, which obviously cannot offer proof that I just moved to California. Is it true that I'll need to show my license as proof of residence or do they just look at the annual pass, seeing as it has photo ID on it?

  1. Well, just tell them you just moved? Or you can call Disneyland's opperators & hope they can tell you everything.

    Good Luck! :)

  2. Just my own experience, I am never asked for my CA ID. They just look at the photo on my pass. I have been a passholder for a few years.

  3. I too am a AP, have been for almost 15 years, and I have never been asked to show my drivers license.

If the photo is of you, they shouldn't have any problems with your pass. And if they do give you static, they will call a CM lead (which will still resolve the situation in your favor).

  4. As long as the bills are in your name (utility bills are probably best for this) and matches the license, should be OK. Of cource, you could just get your CA license since you'll have to sooner or later anyway.
