no they never ever reveal who gossip girl is.

i don't really think that she's a main character or even someone we know. many times throughout the books (and the episodes if you watch the show), gg ruins their lives. why would she do that to herself?

i can think of at least ONE TIME for everyone where she spreads something about someone that.. they wouldn't want ANYONE to know.

so i think it's just some random girl watching from the sidelines who's obsessed with spreading gossip.
