Do they exchange 1000 korean won bills into american dollars?

well, ive always lived in the states so i never had to exchange money into dollars b4, but now that my fathers an exped and we're in korea for the past yr now, i was wondering if they exchange 1000 korean won bills into american dollars. yes, im going bak for the summer vacation.

im only asking bc i tried to exchange korean won to british pounds in heathrow airport at london when i went there a few weeks ago, but they gave me bak my 1000 korean won bills.

Well, a 1,000 won bill is worth about 1 US dollar. You can exchange won for dollars and dollars for won at most money exchange places in South Korea. All countries you will travel to would very likely trade US dollars for their local currency.
