We always have time for singing! We sing everywhere. You can go to the Karaoke lounges to sing, you can sing at home, in the bathroom, when you are among friends, etc.

Sure, it is a popular past-time and you will find lots of pubs, hotels, community clubs, resident committees, clan associations, K-boxes, etc offering karaoke every day or certain days of the week, all over the country. Some places are open during the afternoons, but most of them open in the evenings.  Not only for working adults, but also for students who frequent the K-box where food and drinks are served.

It's a great way to pass away one's time in cozy surroundings with some friends, either to show off or to polish one's singing skills. And they are also convenient  breeding grounds for those potential ones  who wish to become professional singers. Life here is never boring, regardless of what some outsiders say.   And someone should also revive those nice and spacious karaoke halls at NTUC clubs with first class music systems, which were very popular 8-12 yrs ago. We could then be a top karaoke haven in ASEAN and the Asia Pacific region.
