  6. Dont be stupid of course we dont have FM radios, we find if you build a large fire in your back garden that smoke signals are the easiest and most efficient way of communicating.

    The BBC even has an entire radio station devoted to Ireland

  8. It may be difficult enough to find such a basic, dated radio in Ireland these days. I'd start my search in the antique shops, you maybe lucky.

  10. Yes, in fact I drove a car around Ireland for almost three weeks and listened to a number of radio stations.  We were able to listen to a national station all over the country as well, never losing signal regardless of where we went.
