  1. Never heard of them but why not try a sherbert dip , gobstopper or the succulent Pontefract Cake !

  2. No, no Tootsie rolls over here as yet, so they would be great sweets to bring - The only American candy we have here that I can think of is quite a range of the Hershey's brand (chocolate bars, kisses, cookies and cream etc) And we also have Reeses cups and Nutrageous bars.

A good thing to bring would be the Jolly Rancher's sweets (I believe they still sell them in America?)

We used to get them over here and everyone I know absolutely loved them - I have no idea why they decided to discontinue them :(

  3. I've never heard of Tootsie rolls, so I don't think they're widely available.

Why not bring some Twinkies - everyone in Britain knows these as a quintessentially American foodstuff, and they aren't available over here.

  4. never heard of tootsie rolls but i suppose kids will eat any type of sweets

  5. They're not available in shops, but we are able to order them online.
