Do they have the same electrical outlets in cancun?

i am from the us and going to cancun, do we have to buy adapters to recharge our camcorder, use my curling iron etc. also it is 110 watts here, and if it is 220 watts there, then it will blow my laptop like what happened to me in morocco (i used an adaptor but should have used a voltage converter too)

Yes, you will have 'no problema'!

Been there many of times. And you will not have a probelm. Enjoy your trip.  But if your using a laptop, may I suggest using a cooling tray.  If your going to Cancun anytime in the near future your going when it is really hot. Not the best time to go. But the cooling tray will help the laptop not over heat.
