  1. Yes, much like they do when they put in a crown for your teeth. Veneers are basically a new shell for your teeth and to make room for it, they must saw down your teeth to make room for the Veneers.

  2. yes a little, but not as much as they have to do for a crown/cap.

  3. Hello...preparing a neutral tooth for placement of a Veneer is dependant of  what the Veneer is going to accomplish...When the need is to only create a better color.. the natural tooth's surface is only slightly reduced and etched so that the cement required to bond the Veneer to the tooth's surface will hold...  In some cases the natural tooth has to be reduced in size and shape so that the new veneer can completely reshape and resize the appearance of the tooth...veneers can totally reshape and recolor all of a persons front teeth creating what has been tagged for years as a "Hollywood smile"...Good luck and I wish you well.

  4. yes they do,

and you will most probably have to replace them every 10 years

  5. The outer side of the tooth has to be grinded a bit to make place for veneer otherwise your tooth will come out and it will become oversize. for more information on veneers you can visit the following link
