Do they mail the stimulous payments on the exact date or can you get them earlier?

Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so you may not get it until early in the following week of the published schedule.

Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.

Payment dates were sent in order based upon the last two digits of your SSN.  --00 was first, --99 is in the last batch.  I was --04, and spent mine a long time ago.  It sure made a difference in the economy, huh?  What a joke.  Here we are,  hundreds of billions in debt and Uncle Sam gives money away.  The congress should be raising the h**l of taxes right now, or everyone under 30 years of age will be paying for this d**n war and the housing crisis, and the oil meltdown for ever!  We have to bite the bullet and pay our debts.

If you e-filed your taxes, you can get them earlier, and should have gotten them by now. If not, then you will get your check right around the exact date.
