Do they make universal remotes for car stereos like they do for tvs?

Last night in a crazed state of one of my chinchillas being sick I lost the remote to my sony car stereo and was wondering if anywhere sells a universal remote or if sony sells replacement remotes?

I wish there were universal remotes. I hate the one that came with my clarion.
