  1. They do make adapters that glue onto the arrow then lets you s***w on your broadhead of choice. Three Rivers Archery would be a good place to find these.

  2. 3Rivers Archery has adapters which allow the use of s***w-in points on wood arrows.

These are the same type I have (for use with DART system screens), and they work very well. They do weigh 50 grains, so you will have to take that into account when getting your broadheads so that your FOC/total arrow weight comes out right.

Too much weight -- or even just too much FOC -- can be a bad thing, even with wood arrows.

  3. Donnie c has the correct answer, just remember that the adapters will add weight to the arrow, but a traditional shooter shouldn't mind the added weight- It will just increase the penetration.

  4. I'm certainly not an expert on archery, but I did a search for primitive archery, and came up with this site.   http://www.3riversarchery.com/Cat.asp?c=...

I remember as a kid my dad had a couple of recurve bows and used wooden arrows and I'm pretty sure the broadheads were the glue on kind.   this site has them on there.

edit:heres another site that sells wooden arrows with Broadheads.

Also, you might want to try to search for Traditional archery
