Do they release a new American girl doll of the year at Christmas time or after the new year?

I was wondering when they release the next American girl doll. Because I wanted to know if they let you know about it before the new year (christmas time) or after the new year comes.

   They usually bring the new limited edition doll out after Christmas.  There was a new doll that was issued this summer.  You can check her out at Americangirl.com
